Well i finally got a chance to shoot my Hankins 700 Brux after Jeff fixed the action and installed a brake . I cant believe the difference shooting 78 grn 4198 and a an Accumax 275 its like shooting a 20 gauge slug gun. then 65 grn of 4198 and a 225 Hornady is like a 7mm\08 . Nice job Jeff !!!!

Nice! Glad to hear the upgrades made shooting it more fun! Sounds great! That's a project that I'm probably a year or so out on. Can't wait...

Several weeks ago I shot two groups with the same load..........One with and One without the brake. Even in my lead sled I could tell the difference. There was however a relatively significant change in POI which needs correcting if you switch.

Rich , yes there was a significant change in POI but well worth the recoil . Aftre the SML i shot my 35 Whelan testing some hand loads , the SML was definitely less recoil !
