Rebuilding my powder magazine and found 1 lb of H110 I bought just after Obummer took office. Kind of a panic purchase, the shelves were pretty empty and this was there. Well now what can I use it for? What kind of applications in SML? OK for a primer/booster for the slow powders? Or I bring it to the August "challenge" and offer for sale? 10

I tried the ww296 in my 50cal ml2 and it would not ignite the powder. In hind sight it was a bad idea to try a pistol powder that is not in stick form. I think burn rate charts are deceiving to some degree.

It also works great in the 300 Black out! Because it is a ball powder the tiny little balls will go thru the hole in your vent or bushing. N-110 is a horse of another color! It is a good booster for slower powders and is of the "stick" variety and will not fit in the tiny vent holes. It is more the physical properties of H110 that make it undesirable as a booster rather than the burn rate. On Hodgedon's burn rate chart out of 148 powders listed,(fastest to slowest) N-120 is #62 and H110 is #64.
