Has anyone seen it. I found one description that says its extruded stick. It is similar to Accurate #9 in burn rate which is a couple clicks faster than N110. Its made for heavy magnum handgun loads so its VV's slowest handgun powder. A shop has some for a semi good price. I would rather save my N110 for my NULA and im down to a pound of 4759.

I have got ask why are you duplexing powder charges I have posted a lot of very small groups with various M/L'S I built for customers and never have I needed a duplex charge that is a bad practice period.

Would like to know as well. N110 is my go-to primer, but it doesn't quite do the job getting the monolithic bullets to obturate, even though I anneal them. Green Dot does, but I would rather use a primer powder that's not quite so "hot".

GMB..........Here is the thing! Probably no one on the forum even knows or has N105? I have a lot of different powders from VV but no 105 so its hard to get an answer to your question. From the sound of it, I would be willing to try it as a booster if I had some but I am not going out and try to find some when there is N-110 which I have about 4 lbs. worth. Elkman is stuck on his single load of 73 gr. of IMR4198, a wool wad and a 300 gr. FTX that shoot very well for him. He is also stuck on Shilen barrels! Nothing wrong with that but it does not mean that is the only formula to make these SML's shoot and shoot well. I have been shooting duplexes very well for a long time. The thing is, Hank's modules do not hold up well to my Clays duplex? The load shoots as good as any here? But I am eating up modules. So, for my HIS ignition I have gone to N-110 and 4759 and the module problem has been reduced or eliminated. It work fine in my 209 gun since there is no module to get eaten up and the bushings I am using with the .026" hole are not getting eat up? Also, I am getting no leakage so will continue with Clays in that gun for a booster. So how about you purchase that N-105 and do some testing and let the forum know how it works for you?

The main thing i needed to know is if it was an extruded or ball powder. After seeing the pic i know its more or less just like N110. Considering the burn rate it should work fine for what i have in mind. Thanks.
