What should be considered a max load for a 300 grain Parker MH in a small shank Savage .45 caliber Brux with 1:20 twist barrel with the HIS ignition system shooting IMR 4198? What about with the Large shank? Bullets will be sized in a smooth form die. Any help or comments is appreciated.

If you are using 4198? I would keep it in the 65 gr. range.

I prefer not to recommend too much powder when dealing with skinny barrels. If you want to go fast get a fat shank to be on the safe side (and I am talking double loads???)
