the first bushing I ever saw before any were available from someone in Michigan IIRC,can't remember his name or handle & he was not on much.
I did find one of his bushing's in my box. OD=.312// length=.375//// .0275 flashhole...........the bushing & setscrew in my plug resembles the pic but the plug is not the same as mine.
not much help but I would do the HIS conversion listed above. you will be much happier in the end.

i'm about to send my barrel to jeff for him to make this thing trouble free !!
i'm done with 209's & BS plug mods... in this 50

a call from Jeff this afternoon about shipping my barrel back with his ignition system with 45/70 extractor installed !!! now that was great news....i cant wait to try it. thanks Jeff and everyone that gave me this information.

Deadeye.............that had to be Al Rochefort (I have his e-mail address and converse with him occasionally) He had a big black bear head as his Avatar! He was a supervisor for a large commercial machine shop an excellent machinist himself. He made me several sizing dies and gave me a lot of help!
