How do I install a single shot follower? Will JB Weld work as an epoxy?
***Edit*** Or is there any other recommendation for filling the void?

If you buy one from PTG which I think Midway carries they fit very good no epoxy needed just tap it in That what I use.

Chad...........what elkman said works but I personally like to JB or Marine-Tex them in. I also like fill and gaps around the perimeter and then smooth them off. It makes for a nice clean bedding job.

Just a thought! IF you use a follower with a FLAT bottom, you are actually causing a sort of...........recoil lug? I have used many of these. When you get done bedding, you have this "hump" in the bedding that the action now fits on top of? So, in addition to the recoil lug resisting the rearward travel of the action, this "hump" also acts as a bit of a resistance factor? Nothing wrong with either, just pointing out a possible advantage in the flat design.

I need one of these for a Remington 700 . I notice midway has a PTG and score-high. Any reason one would be better than the other because PTG is considerably higher?

Does the score-high have a flat bottom?

Timely thread. The pics really helped me wrap my head around how they go together. I am about to pick one up at SSS for my savage based build.

I like the PTG much better. But that's just me.
