I'm sure Devcon or JB WELD is stronger than fiberglass or fiberglass resin . I have some metal bonding glue . It's used to glue on besides. I have different strengths and cure times . I bet that would work ? I guess why chance it . I should just go out and find some of this Devcon stuff .

there are lots of good bedding compounds, Devcon, Marinetex, pro bed 2000, JB and the list goes on, nothing at all wrong with the JB you used Doug, I prefer Devcon or Marinetex,but the others work well too, if either seems too thick you can heat with a hair dryer to get it thinned out to ease in mixing but keep in mind that heat speeds the drying process, I almost always heat mine unless its very hot outside, one good coat of wax is all thats needed, the more you put on the looser the fit, tight is a good thing when bedding.
