Looks like a winner. Picked up a pound of 3031 to try myself as soon as bullets come in. Hope to see same results.

Not to surprised by the velocity loss of the old IMR 3031. I did all my tests with new IMR 3031 and your right on at 2900fps. Certain powders degrade faster than others and IMR powders have been know to have large swings form lot number to lot number. That was the big complaint with IMR powders with the benchrest crowd. Today there are a lot of new powders that have come avaible that are really stable.
Stick with new current lots of IMR 3031 and you will have good results you might see small velocity difference with different lots of new powder but not 100 feet difference. Nice looking groups and gun keep up the good work.

I like the price better on the old can. Nice shooting. Plan to shoot some 3031 with the 275 AccuMax tomorrow if it's not raining.

It appears that accuracy is there for plinking with the old can of 3031!
