Thanks guys for supporting the startup of pressure testing. I have the 40 ready to begin testing Monday, 1/16. I am installing the brakes Jeff sent on the 45's in order to lessen recoil on the chronograph and strain gauge cables. Once the 45's are back together and I have the equipment dialed in and calibrated, I will be posting traces with the Pittman Accumax line of projectiles.
In the 45 cal's, I have both HIS AND SAVAGE plugs with .030, .035, .040 bushings. These Savage plugs are set up right, in that they are sealed and headspaced well. Comparable to any of the top end 209 plugs. I have 250 and 300 gr SST's, 275 and 325 Accumax, 275 and 300 BE, and some of Linebaugh's lead creations that have a corbin tip for saboted loads.
In the 40 cal, I have HIS plugs with .035 and .040 bushings I have 200 sst's currently and will be testing with the Accumax when it is available.

Scat came by my house last night and brought the pressure testing equipment with him. It was neat to see this in person as I have only read about it. Marvin the Martian ain't got nothing on this thing! Absolute state of the art equipment!
Jerry, I'll get you some of the Aeromax .452's soon and Aeromax .403's in the Spring. Look forward to seeing your first traces!

I have a pound of 10X I would like to donate at the spring shoot. Would like to see some traces with BH209 in a .40 if you are willing. I can donate powder for that too. Primers are not a problem either.
