this bullet was recovered from a Georgia buck, it was shot by my friend from an Apex that Jeff did a conversion on right around Christmas. My buddy broke it in right with a 150 yd shot, the buck went down immediately, recovered weight was 119 grn, was a good buck too, mid 130s or so, no exit but he said the heart and lungs were soup.
He was my hunting partner in Illinois this year and killed two with my Apex the last evening we hunted, one @ 248 and one @ 249, with a 1.5x5 VXIII sitting on top no less, all with Kyle's 275s, he was immediately hooked!
As soon as we got home his wife was texting me wanting to get him one for Christmas so I told her where to get one and hooked her up with Jeff for the conversion, needless to say he is tickled pink. he said it will cut holes @ 100.
these things are hard to beat to 325 or so..

Hillbill, that's an awesome story!! The smokeless muzzleloader are crazy fun and accurate. The couple guys I showed my McRem to have told all their hunting buddies and showed them a video of me shooting a pop can @ 100 yards.
Great looking bullet recovery!! Thanks for sharing!!

Is that an original accumax or hard core?

Gotta try some of those. Only parts of a 300 BE I've ever found was in my teeth.
