There is a good gunsmith in Reader,W.V. his name is Duane Brown. I don't know if he does work on ml's but I know he builds some fine looking rifles and does great work. It is a small home shop and he has been at it for many years. I don't have his number but you can probably find it on the net.

What type of work do you really want done. No offense to any general gunsmith but if they don't have good first hand experience designing and building a 209 muzzleloader they are totally lost and it will be money wasted unless there willing to do it as a learning experience that's the plan facts of life when is comes to a smokeless muzzleloader.

I totally agree, I don't think the guy in Reader W.V. does ml's. I just remembered another D&D Dana Brownfield in Belmont County Ohio builds ml's off of savage and Rem.actions, Phone #740-484-0232 he is closed on Sun. and Mon. This is less than 100mi. as stated from Morgantown,W.V.
