Well my friends as the 3rd Kentucky challenge begins to wind down some of us are on our way home. I am sad to see it come to a close. It was so good to see old friends and make new.I consider it a privilage to know each and every one of you and proud to call you my friends. And even more soto be called friend . This fall gathering was, as the last a great time among friends new and old. Shooting was just the icing on the cake....The friendship and fellowship among all was the meat and taters, as always. And the people who worked hard to help run the, shoot and keep us "VERY WELL" fed are very appreciated. So as anticipated...and delivered The Shoot Was Hoot!!! A big thank you to Jeff and Miss Mindy for hosting another wonderful event Until we meet again my friends May God Bless Drop and Charlie

Well said, it was great to meet everyone and to put faces with names. Jeff and Mindy did a great job with everything (and whoever else may have helped out). Drop thanks for the tips and information. Looking forward to the next shoot.
Safe travels for everyone heading home.

Looks like a very good time. The collection of pro's all on a few acres. No arm chair critics present.
Would love to bring ugly Betty out there one year and have a chance at making a .50 compete. Is that possible? Before I retired the great power/accuracy load of 70+ gr H4198 and the FTX 325 gr and Harv BCR sabot, I really thought there was a chance to shoot the .50 at close to these levels. Probably not. Then we went center fire out here and all I do is lob huge chunks of lead @ real slow speeds to minimize meat damage on late season does. Ugly Betty has become a precise, close range meat cleaver in the late season.
You guys and your custom guns have surely set a benchmark of awesomeness. This entire gathering is epic. The worst guy on the line is in 1st place 15 yrs ago in regards to smokeless. Maybe exageration a little but you get my drift. Smokeless has come a long way.
