I got the Aeromax .452 325 grain .030" test bullets today and if everything goes as planned they will be hair tested a week from today. I plan on offering a .021" jacket for long range hunting and target plus a thicker jacketed bullet for higher velocity or closer range hunting. I'm not dead set on .030", may go thicker. Testing will reveal any changes necessary.

Look forward to the HAIR test.
Put Jenna back on deck, the deer don't stand a chance.
Good luck!!!

Kyle, do you think there will be any problems with this thicker jacket not mushrooming ? I have seen a few reports of the match hunters not opening up in the past . Only way to find out is do a hair test i no. Just wondering if there was another reason for the match hunters occasionally not mushrooming other than the jacket being thicker that im not aware of ?

Not all copper is the same for jackets. Some bullet makers use a 90/10 or 95/5 copper/zinc alloy for a harder jacket. My bullet maker uses 99.96% copper for the jackets. I expect the .030" jackets to perform well and not pencil through.

I have shot about 6 deer with 275MH and never had a problem so far. Hope that continues. I have 64 of them left. Went to 300ftx/sst, only because I traded all my .458 stuff off for a ton of them when I went to 45cal. They work great on deer also, about 4 deer kills with them so far, including a miss tonight! Only because my rangefinder fogged up from being inside my bibs against my shirt, and I underestimated the distance.

Can't wait to try them! These 275s do some serious devastation on these big Midwest deer!
