Back on August 17, 2016 I posted a thread: TC Encore 45-70 Hankins Conversion–Out of the gate flying!!! hanksmessageboard.freeforums.net/thread/1316/encore-hankins-conversion-gate-flyingOriginally I purchased (2) TC Encore / Begara 45-70 Hankins Conversion's, one for myself and the other for a friend. Yesterday was the first time my friend was able to shoot his TC Encore / Begara 45-70 Hankins Conversion, let alone the first time he has ever shot a SML. With very minimal experimentation we were able to get a Pittman Accumax 275 with 55 grains IMR 4198, .060 veggi wad, HIS Ignition / Federal LRM 215M primer to group under 1.25" at 200 yards with sustained 15-20 mph winds. Well needless to say the Hankins / Pittman combination for the 2nd time in a row "came out of the gate flying". Not bad to say the least for a compact, agile, lightweight hunting SML. Jeff and Kyle thanks again for all the help and providing us with the tools necessary to consistently achieve these type of results. !!!

Well done and some very good shooting.... Thank you Yes his gun is a real shooter. The wind was howling, shot on a lead sled and getting dark. Look forward to shooting it on a good set of bags, no wind and daylight. Great job on the HIS installation, primers were perfect after the shot / 100% sealing along with instantaneous ignition. To say he is happy customer is a understatement he left the range ecstatic, he said his rifles weren't as accurate as his SML. Thanks again, Charles
