I have been shooting parker 275 gr match hunter hollow base and the 275 gr emac. Point of impact at 100 yds same. I can mix and match and the target looks the same, holes touching! However, the deer i have shot this year do not look the American!!! Let's just say if you like front shoulder meat, well don't use the emac! Huge tissue destruction. I have 8 deer down thus far, 3 emac. There is a difference base on this small sampling Anybody else have any experience with them

Mooseman, The first bullet you mention has a .028" or so thick jacket, the second has a .015" or so thick jacket. Thinner jacketed bullets tend to be very accurate, but the downside is meat loss at warp speeds. What is your muzzle velocity and how far were your shots?

If I had to use the 270gr Emax for deer hunting, it would be strictly broad side lung shots at least 3" behind the shoulder.

I was asking Richard about velocity out if this 23" barrel. I am shooting one of his pet loads. The consensus is 2700 ish. Most shots are 70-90 yds, some at 40-50. Yeah I spoke with bob at Parker about the bullets. He assured me tissue damages from emax. He was not wrong!!!!! A little front shoulder meat loss is fine with me. I will shoot 10-12 with it this year. Shot another die last night, Match hunter. Straight to the ground! We used ballistic extremes for years in this farm, but owner made us switch to no lead in Bullets for a number of years. Barnes killed the deer, but not as effectively as these bullets do. Hopefully we can continue using them
