I just started using the 275BE this year and wanted to share results. Load is 10/45 4759/4198 using a veggie wad. Speed is 2400 fps at 3 yards. Two does both about 100-110 pounds behind shoulder in ribs, past through. Golf ball size in , softball size out. Both DRT. Both shots about 100 yards. One doe 110-120 pounds on the shoulder broadside. Again Golf ball size in and softball out, 20 yard run. 100 yards shot. Buck 120-130 pounds, shot behind shoulder through ribs same golfball/softball in/out. 75 yards run with easy to follow blood trail. Shot was about 55-60 yards.
I am please with the results. Quick kill and nice easy to follow short blood trail. At the speeds I shoot I will stay with the 275BE. Also easy on my shoulder. My guns with scopes weight about 10.5 to 11 pounds. Our NC deer on average go 90-110 for does and 110-130 for bucks(weight by scale not eyeball). Only seen two go over 200 pounds here in the last 25 years.
If I were to go to midwest or Canada I might change but for the NC/VA deer I hunt I am happy with the 275BE at 2400fps.

Nice work and congratulations
I have shot several Midwest deer 250 LBS and up with a 275 BE from a standard 50 cal muzzle-loader with BH 209, always did the job.
You would have no problem with your current setup, as riverrat said bullet placement is everything.
