YB, that looks awesome, Betcha it tasted even better. we haven't had much luck here so far, been to warm here. southern season starts in N Y, saturday, hope to connect soon..

Yeah Charlie,
Hopefully the weather will turn colder for you by then. We had some crazy temps in the Blue Ridge Mountains last week going down to the high 20's / low 30's at night, then into the mid 60's in the afternoons. The morning hunts were great but afternoon hunts were uncomfortably warm.
Good luck, and I hope you are able to lay ole Bigboy on the ground.

One of my if not my most favorite recipes! Seasoned hash browns browned in bacon grease...over easy eggs...blackberry jam on buttered toast...good eating!!

Try venison as a chicken fried steak covered in a white or sausage gravy. Potatoes Obrien with fresh mild Hatch chiles when in season. Anaheims are ok too if you can find good ones. Beats the heck out of bell peppers and has just a tiny bit of heat.

Try venison as a chicken fried steak covered in a white or sausage gravy. Potatoes Obrien with fresh mild Hatch chiles when in season. Anaheims are ok too if you can find good ones. Beats the heck out of bell peppers and has just a tiny bit of heat. I got a cuber from Cabelas last year...what a tool! Tames the toughest meat!
