Well I said I would report the good and the bad. The new batch I made I put the same 14 degree nose on but made the point smaller in diameter hoping to increase the B.C. for the 600 yard test. Today I just wanted to check the velocity and POI so I would be ready to test on Sunday. Well after two shots there was no reason to shot a third. accuracy was terrible. I don't know for sure why changing the profile a small amount would upset the stability like it did but strange things happen with just minor changes. If I get some more brass I might try this again but it is very time consuming to say the least. There is a reason why formed jacketed bullets still dominate all the shooting sports.
