Welcome to the board. Where did you gat that block attached to your forearm?? Steve Steve, that black lump (bag rider) on the end is a piece of 1" thick Delrin. I machine the sides and the bottom of the stock parallel to the barrel for good tracking on my SEB neo front rest. I also cut a relief on the bottom of the block to form two 5/8" wide rails of contact on the bottom outside edges for the rifle to ride on. This is the best setup for managing the front end when load development on a bench. I can still remove the bag rider and use a bipod if I want to for field use.

Welcome,and I'll take a buck like the one in your avatar.Seriously! I managed to kill this guy up in Kansas this year with my knight mountaineer. Barnes 290 gr T-Ez 110 gr volume BH209. 185 yds bang-drop-done. Green scored 158 4/8, 24 1/2" outside. final score after drying is 157 1/8.

Very nice buck.We have some pretty good ones here in Ohio too.Genetics are getting better all across the country,due to good management programs.Mostly done privately I believe.Again welcome.
