Probably any one of the shooters at the Challenge could hit that gong! Seriously! I know myself or Jeff or any one of a hundred gunsmiths could put together a gun like that and capable of that shot. What most don't have the place or the team to pull it off. Its a basic long range rifle and cartridge built with top of the line parts and expensive scope. Note: It was not a "One shot One kill!" They had to walk them babies in. None the less an impressive video.

Richard.. I agree with you.. All I would need is you, Kyle hillbill and deadeye as my spotters and I could hit that target with Cyclops.....

You will need a better piece of land and a bigger dozer! That is a "FUR" piece!

Yes I agree, with the right place to practice and team to instruct you on scope dope I'm sure several of the members are more then capable of such a shot.
Never the less quit a SHOT !!!

I have shot three shots out of my .416 to 1760yds(1 mile) and was just as close to hitting the 12"X12" plate as a buddy was with his 338 Lapua, it was a little breezy that day. The bullet got there faster than what my buddy thought it would. The bullet was a 350MH over a charge of H4350 going 2680ft/sec. I think it was something around 108MOA to get to 1760yds.

I agree,,, Any and everyone of us could make that shot if we had all day, an endless supply of ammo and a half dozen spotters helping us with our dope.. If you shoot enough shot sooner or later you will hit the target.. If you can make contact within a shot or two then you are doing something right.
Mark. According to my ballistic program I would need 88 minutes to contact the target at 1760 yards using my Cyclops rifle.... That's a long poke out there...

The draw back with the ML would be the BC on the bullet due to its configuration. Flat base vs. VLD. I would almost bet it is a monolithic bullet, very long for its 350 gr. and .375 caliber. Even though Jeff can push the Pittman 350 to 3800 fps and their 350 gr. bullet to 3200 fps, the design of their bullet would definitely overtake the Pittman at those distances. Much like my test Tuesday with the 200 gr. FTX starting out fast but loosing a lot of elevation at 300 vs. the 300 gr. Pittman. That experiment took a lot of money and time to produce. Even the bunker at the impact zone.
