I had my wife fry up a couple of those squirrels my son harvested....mashed taters and salt and pepper squirrel gravy and Amish macaroni salad....I am going to waddle off to the couch now....lol

Nothing quite like,fried squirrel/squirrel gravy and biscuits/squirrel pot pie.I have to stop I'm making myself hungry.Guess it's time to hit the woods.

Most people have no idea how good squirrel is... No they sure don't...they equate squirrel to a rat.....lol....I will take it over fast food any day!

Grandma used to pressure cook it and fry it in bacon grease. Hers was the only fried squirrel i really loved. I would rather eat a cage raised rabbit. Shake-N-Bake that sucker and the meat just falls off the bone. We used to raise black and white New Zealands. They were exceptional eating.
