Here is the one I have been working on for awhile. Savage PTA, right bolt, right port that Jeff barreled for me. 28 inch Brux, 1.25 for 5 inches to a inch at the muzzle, plus the break. Black Ice coated. Vortex 4-16x44 Viper HST MOA reticle, Ken Ferrell rings and base. The stock was built, and action bedded by Joel Russo. A5 front with an A3 rear. I figured on this being more of a bench than a hunting gun. Now I got to get some time to see how it spits them out.

Get some glasses or just click on the smaller picture Steve Nice ProVarmint stock. With that barrel it is bound to be good shooter----------------depending on the" bullet director!" Good luck with it Ken!

Neat OH! I love that stock. Hunt, yes, in a hunt house where you can bag them a zipcode away! 10

Thanks. It weights in at about 15 pounds. We had to put a 1 pound recoil reducer in the back to balance it out. The Black Ice on the bolt face made the headspace a little tight so Jeff's gonna shave a couple thousandths off the plugs, then I can get it going.
Someday I'll figure this posting pictures out. Thanks rambler for blowing it up.

It is a combo of the McMillian a5 and a3 stocks, which is whet Joel patterned all his stuff from. The a5 has a beaver tail style front that is rounded, where the a3 is square and angled. The a3 does not have a but hook like the a5 does. So he made it with the front end of the a5 and took out the but hook in the back. I like the rounded front more and had no real need for the but hook, sized the palm swell for me, and added the adjustable cheek piece.
This is the first stock I have had with the adjustable cheek piece and really like it. Learned the hard way on having the build up the back with neoprene and a stock bag to get the right height but it works.
