I have had a Ruger SR9C for awhile. It is my everyday carry gun. Rides great in a DeSantis leather owb holster with shirt over the top. Has been fabulous throughout approx 1k rounds. Bought it used for $319 in like new cond. Have been eyeballing the SR45 but have read crappy reviews on early models. More recent reviews much better. Ran into one at a local shop. Same deal, used but like new for $329. Clerk said the guy said the 45 was too powerful. Lol. So here is a pic of my pair. Will post results on the 45 later.

I had a sr9c a few years ago. I thought the trigger was too stiff, and bought a trigger connector replacement from ghost triggers out of Miami,Fla.What a difference it made, reduced trigger pull to 3.5lbs.I only sold mine because I am just more of a wheel gun man.Ghost Inc. makes trigger connectors for Ruger and Glock.Just an fyi, nice pair.

My trigger is silky smooth and light on the 9mm. The 45 is a little heavier, but plenty good enough. The SW M&P I have shot all had crap triggers.

Got to shoot the 45 today. NICE is all I need to say. Very accurate and controllable, zero malfunctions, not even a stovepipe with my wife shooting it. We put 150 Winchester white box 230 ball thru it today. Recoil is the usual 45 push and boom. The sr9c 9mm is way more snappy with Hornady Critical Duty ammo. So far so good as has been all my Rugers thru the years. Super nice that it fits in the belt holster I already use. Did I say NICE? Lol

We shot another 100rds thru the SR45. Pulled it apart and cleaned it up the 2nd time. Happy.

Nice. I really don't like to put much weight in internet review from people that you don'y know. Maybe they are planting a seed due to being an H & K fan, S & W fan whatever. Trust you guys more than the masses that post on youtube.
Glad it's working out. SR45 is on my radar and a Mini 14.

I had the opportunity to get a free one when I hit on the NRA wall of guns raffle but the reviews turned me off so I went for the Kimber 380 micro carry! I have to qualify once a year for my retired LEO Federal carry permit and I shot the two courses (day and night) with perfect scores with both the micro carry and my Sig P239. Mostly carry the micro due to the weight.

Put another 150 rounds thru the ole 45. Mostly 230gr ball, and a few hollow points here and there. So far so good, not so much as a hiccup still, even with wife shooting periodically. Its a keeper.

Get your hands on some of the Ruger ARX ammo in 45 ACP. You won't be disappointed.
