My new SML build is finally complete. I posted a thread a while back showing the stock when it arrived. The barreled action showed up today and I was able to put it together before hitting the road to Nags Head NC for a wedding I have to attend. Here are the specs. Manners T5A BDL mini chassis in Midnight camo PT&G oberdorf bottom metal Rem 700SA CF NF 20 MOA base. 8-40 screws Recoil lug pinned to receiver Brux 28" Heavy Varmint 1-18 twist 5 port Muscle brake Arrowhead plug CMC/Kash 209 bolt Trigger tech trigger to test out All metal cerekote in Sniper Grey Cole @cmc did all machine work and Cerkote. Everything looks great and I can't wait to take it to the range and get it dialed in and test various bullet weights. Cole really does great work and I wouldn't hesitate to have him do more. This SML will be a switch barrel muzzleloader. I plan to do a .416 barrel later in the year. Cole is the one that suggested the name The Lone Survivor. It is a fitting name for a few reasons. When I received it today( Tue) was the 11th Anniversary to Operation Red Wings. Operation Red Wings is the mission in Afghanistan the book and movie The Lone Survivor is based off. I will let Cole talk about the reason for him suggesting the name The Lone Survivor on dougs. This barreled action was the one Cole did a post about timing a brake on dougs board. Not the best picture but I only had a moment to take a quick picture. More pictures to follow once I get back home.

That is a nice rig and you put some top notch parts in it. The stock looks like it would be incredibly comfortable. Thanks for sharing.

Since you didn't want to drive it over to my house before you left so I could break it in you should have taken it with. You could have played Hemingway and cruised the water shooting fish.

Nice looking gun. Who did the camo job? I like that "sponge" print. What finish, paint etc... on the stock? It's giving me some inspiration for the stock for my build. 10

Thanks. The Camo job is straight from Manners like that. It's the Midnight camo. Several different camp options from them and you can do custom colors as well
