Well today was the start of getting my honey do list done. First was talking out a patio door and installing a new patio door. Once we got the door figured out we finally got things trimmed in and set for now. Will finish once I get the new flooring in. Menards was finishing up a 11% rebate on entire store today so we rushed to Menards to get the new flooring. I've spent about 8 months to a year looking at flooring. They do a street of dreams homes here every year showing off 1 million dollar homes and what they do inside them. One of the homes did all their flooring in luxury vinyl wood planks. My wife and I were amazed how neat it looked along with lifetime warranty and 100% water proof. So we ended up buying everything the 3 Menards stores has in the flooring picked out. Next I'm removing a support wall and adding a support beam. Drywall everything back in and then start the flooring. Old door New door New flooring and loaded truck 46 boxes later **** Formal dining area is installed just needs trim work and it's DUN!! ****

Sounds like you've got your work cut out for you.
I like that flooring.
How do you install it, does it snap together on the edges then free-float on the subfloor / vapor barrier?

YB Yes it's tongue and groove. Free floating and 100% water proof. Life time guarantee and no underlayment. Cuts with a utility knife as well.

Thanks. Sounds like it may be a good alternative to carpeting for use in rental properties also.

The only problem I see is getting tenants to keep the proper pads on the bottom of furniture legs to prevent tearing up the finish. That would be a challenge even with good quality tenants.

Deck is later down the road I did it in Behr deck over and didn't prep exactly by the label and already pealing back off after only a year. Was told dark colors don't help either.
Your deck looks awesome!! I'm going to look into Tex and see what it is!! Thanks!!
