My oldest daughter and I go hunting together every year. I hope she stays interested. She was more excited on her second deer that she killed with a rifle. She said daddy I got a big one, 40lbs field dressed. A whopper!!!!

Kyle it doesnt get any better than that! Brother I can tell you they grow up WAY too fast! I know you wont ever find a better hunting partner! My only child has been hunting with me since she was 3. Taking her out pretending to be hunting is how we started. Plinking BB guns, then .22 onto .410 shotguns now she shoots whatever she wants. She is almost 20 now and still to this day hunts, fishes, four wheelers, kayaks, whatever Dad is doing she is ready to do it too. Sad to say though she outshoots me sometimes now too! She hates shooting a pistol but flat outshoots me with them Anyway I didnt mean to ramble on your post about my daughter.... just very happy for you and your lil girl! Keep her close to Dad and she will be fine

I have two daughters that are 20 and 21 that just never had an interest in hunting with me. So guys cherish the time a field with your kids, it is priceless.

Zen, if you ever need a tag a long on a goat trip, let me know. I've been wanting to kill one of them critters for a while.

The only hitch is that it takes 3 bonus points to draw a permit so it's only possible to get one every three years...That's for residents...non residents it's even harder....Your best bet would be Wyoming...Lots of goats and over the counter permits are available. The goat in the pic I killed four years ago...275 BE going about 2750fps...190yds.. Didn't move out of his tracks Zen

Those memories are priceless. My grandson will be three this fall and has already got his lifetime Sportsman license. Now I have to wait until he is mature enough to big game hunt.
