Northern MI snow.... [tbr] Was that from this year, and where at? I am at the SE end of Lake Michigan, and we get lake effect bad when the wind is right. Nothing to get 1-3ft in a day or two. Good times!

Not this year. It was 2yrs ago. We've had a winter like no other this year, with only two storms that each dumped 14" of really wet snow. A week ago it was 64 degrees here, now its 27 degrees. We get enough snow in the very early evenings to cover the grass and the leaves in the woods, but it'll go by noon. Just crazy this year.
I'm just a bit southwest of the 45th parallel and Alpena, MI
