I have a Hankins 45 cal smokeless built on an Outcast action the barrel is 24 inches in Remington Varmint contour with a 5 inch shank. I'm looking to either a Pittman Accumax 275g or the 300g Aeromax. I'm looking for load data for N120, N133 and N135. Looking at the powder burn chart N120, N133 and N135 looked interesting as N120 is next to H4198; N133 is between H4198 and H4895; and N135 is right next to H4895 on the burn rate chart. Thanks in advance for any info you share.

N120 should give more velocity with less pressure compared to 4198. The Viht powders have a reputation of burning clean .

I'm also looking at n130 if you have load info your willing to share. I would love to find some H4198 or H322 but have yet to see any available

120 works well with a 275 or 300 but 133 & 135 would be reserved for the 300s
Many are not crazy about openly posting loads here but I’m sure some will pm you some starting loads

Also a 24” tube will likely limit you to N-120, maybe 133?

I will likely eventually get some 4895 or 133 and some 300s and see what groups best.

N 120 is all you need you can easily get 2850 with a 303 grain bullet in a 26 inch barrel not sure how much you might lose in a 24 but probably not very much at all pm me if you want that data as 303 gr. is what I recommend to my customers

I would love to find some H4198 or H322 but have yet to see any available Using TGinPA's pressure trace loads, I used N130 in a duplex with N110, but the loads were more for lighter bullets. Has anyone here used N130 as a single powder in their loads?

When working with any of the powders you mentioned, just start low and work up. I have never heard of anyone blowing up a SML by using a grain or two or three one way or another but....I have heard of them blowing up rifles using double charges/bullets! With a fat barreled SML, you have a lot of leeway before a problem occurs, Most all of us here that have been around for a while, have done so by experimenting a little. Probably no one here has experimented with duplex/triplex loads as I have......and, the only barrels I bulged were due to double charges....NOT the powder charge itself. Just use common sense.
