With less than 20 shots down the tube I finally got to go take care of a couple of problem hogs. Last weekend I was able to sight in and get good data out to 600 yards. I’ve had problems with a couple of boar hogs tearing up feeders and feed pens, so I thought why not take the new rig and see how it works. The first one showed up at 1st light, at about 80 yards. He was broadside, and I aimed center shoulder, right in the middle of his “shield”. He never knew what hit him, just bounced when he hit the ground. The second one was a few hours later, but the distance was about 400 yards. Same aim point, same result, bounced when he hit the ground, not even a kick. 105 grains of H4895 pushing a .45 325 Pittman Aeromax at a little over 3100 FPS in an 18 twist Brux #17. Good practice for deer season coming up, getting rid of hogs, and getting excellent results from Kyle’s bullets.

Nice shooting yep After Hank sent my gun back to me, I killed 3 hogs. With it but the first 2 I shot at about 80 yards and hitting in shoulder bullets (45 caliber 250gr. Pittman's @ 2600fps) really fragmented 3 one I shot low behind shoulder hitting heart and didn't fragment as bad. About 150lb hogs.
