I’ve really slacked on my projects this year. To update from last fall, I didn’t get my can until after season. I set my ml up shooting 250 xtps with 60 grains of H4198. I shot a 8 pointer at about 50 yards and it blew a nice size hole going in. I feel I need a thinner jacket bullet to be able to shoot through my can without a wad. I just ordered some Fury 265 sbt’s and was wondering if I should back the powder charge down a little or keep it at 60?

I have a CVA Scout and I’ve used the Fury 265 without a wad using 53 grain of 4227 at 2450 FPS.

I’m planning to put a can on Loud Mouth this year if the AFT can get it done before November. I’m planning to use the same load as last year. 53.5 grain of 4227 with a Pittman 275 with no wad. I can drop down a half of a grain before the bullet starts dropping into the powder chamber.
