I’m currently putting together a smokeless Encore with a Hankins barrel. I’m putting a NF NX8 4-32x50 f2 on it. Curious what scope rings you guys are running on your SML. Thanks.

The best ones on the market, Hankins. They are the best ones I have used. You will not be disappointed.

I'm using both a Leupold scope and rings on mine. Holding up well so far.

Hankins 6 bolt rings are the best I’ve used. Built strong, machined perfect, and require no lapping.

I use NF scopes with NF rings for the last 10 years. But the last 3 sets of rings bought has all been from Hanks Precision Gun Parts. I did a test mounting a competition scope, torqued them down and then removed them 3 time back to back. Not a mark on the scope tube anywhere. Jeff’s rings are better than NF and cheaper. Another nice thing about them if you drop a screw and lose it, you can go down to your local hardware store and buy on off the shelf.

First off I'm a big fan of the DNZ mounts, but with the Vortex Diamondback, I can't get the scope back far enough. I have a 2 part question on Hankins Rings. 1. What is the torque on the Base screws?? 2. What is the torque on the 1" Scope Rings?? I'm putting Jeff's Base on my CVA 45-70 scout along with Jeff's 1" rings.
