No it's integral machined lug 700 SA footprint 416 SS w/ 4140 cromoly bolt melonited .060 firing pin fluted solid bottom (except for fixture holes) flycut boltface for H.I.S. modules standard or magnum 70 degree bolt lift spiral fluted bolt on top, bottom is unfluted tig welded handle threaded for removable knob, comes with the style pictured bolt release is moved forward to stop bolt in proper location, also is above center line of stock to prevent stock notching 8-40 base holes w/pins field strip-able firing pin assembly (bayonett- push turn and remove) 1 1/16 x 18 tennon thread takes same base as Stiller and others Jeff is making a nice SS base for these at a good price Overall it's a really nice action purpose made for what we are doing Price? Talk to Jeff, Jimbob or JR Schultz @ Schultz Precision, it's less than a custom CF action and better IMO, purpose made for us. These actions are made on state of the art CNC machinery, I shot one at the spring shoot (the second one built) and they work great.

Can you use one of Hanks remage barrels with this action or would a gunsmith need to set the barrel?
