A brand new Saure 101 and my first ever handloads. Useing Nosler 308 load data I loaded 18 rounds in 1/2 gr increments 42-44.5 grs of IMR 4064. Bullets were Hornady 165 gr Interlock Hornady brass Federal 210 primers and COAL of 2.800. Groups were,.660,.913,.993,.767,.533,.531 all at 100 yds. The .993 group and 43gr load I experienced sticky bolt lift and every cartridge had light extractor marks on them. For a knew rifle and first ever handloads I'm calling this test a success. On good note I only had 1 factory round to get on paper and cut dead center at 50 yds off the bore sight. I'd rather be good than lucky, kinda stumped on that sticky bolt lift at 43 grs.

The 43 grain load is interesting.

Yep that load has me spinnin for sure. New rifle and barrel nowhere near broke in and all groups under an inch! Needless as it is to say I'm sold on Saure!
