The shops I have been in didn't even have 209 primers. People pannick buying/hoarding has created the shortages. Plus all the crazies getting ready for the end.

we have a large gun shop about 5 miles from my house, and they have a maximum of 2 boxes of ammo. The shelves are completely empty, as soon as something comes in it is gone. Democrats do a great job of selling guns and ammo.

Yep, big crock of crap. I kinda got caught off guard last time on a few things. Since, I have been buying whenever I see a decent deal. Wife always looks at me like, "really, you need more"? But after seeing the prices people are selling and worse yet paying, we both feel its money in the bank now. I have cut my shooting way back to conserve for now. I still have junior shoot to keep learning and refining his skills. Sad times nowadays.

I walked in a local shop in Ohio and they had about 3,000 small rifle primers on the shelve at $8 per 100.

I reluctantly paid $36/# for Varget, after paying $32/# prior. Had been several years since I seen any before now, so had to pay the piper. Oh well, should have enough for many seasons ahead now.
