Deer hunting was terrible this past weekend with highs in the 70's and lots of fog. So when this guy stepped out the McRem .45 loaded with the 250 FTX and 10/50 SR4759/IMR4198, I cancelled his Christmas!

great job. There is only one good kind of coyote, a dead one. Those are some fancy hunting boots.

You should have taken his collar off before you took that second pic! LOL. Didn't think about the drag rope looking like a collar. Good eye... The drag was a 1/2 mile up hill to the truck! That sucker stunk!!!!

I was wondering the same thing Scott? From the picture I see no sign of bullet entry or exit? Maybe his tail was up and you hit the butt hole???

So with your load are you shooting around 2550fps? That surprises me that it didn't do much damage, pretty cool also. What are you going to do with the coyote? Do you check prices on them?

I shot one back in November with a 250 TEZ over 10/55 4759/4198. It entered the right hip and exited the left shoulder. I thought about saving the skull for a euro but that yotes innerds were really funky and the flies were in the body cavity before I got to it hours later. I agree... Kill them ALL.

I hit him right behind the shoulder and he fell over with the entry side up. When I walked up to him I was surprised there was no blood at the entry. Very little blood on the exit side either as he was laying in a pool of water.

I put him in the gut pit at our camp. The coyotes clean it out every night. He stunk something awful! Have never checked on prices.
