I have a question for you BH209 user’s do any of you know how much velocity difference in a 28 inch barrel versus a 26 inch barrel I do know there is a concern of burning all the powder

Very little. Not worth the extra weight just to shoot BH IMO.

A lot of your factory guns are advertized with 28 in barrels however, likely not the truth! Once you take the breech plug length and the so called loading cone into consideration the working bore gets much shorter. My best hunting buddy purchased my factory TC Encore barrel thats 28 inches long with 26 1/4 working bore. he is shooting 120 gr vol BH209 under a 250 gr pittman Accumax at 2106 fps. With a 1-28 twist the rifle shoots extremely well as he smoked a large doe at 207yds,I was 1 of 3 witnesses. Oh almost forgot, he's useing mmp magnum sabots. hope the info helps! Dave

About 18-25fps per inch difference depending on amount of BH209 and bullet weight.
