Friday, we tested the .402 225gr Accumax in my Savage/Rock Creek 1:13.2 twist 28" bbl with Direct Ignition. All loads were estimated in QL and of course had never been shot previously. I will post all load info but please be aware that some have pressures that are QL estimated above 50KPSI. These loads were safe in my barrel but I am by no means advising their use in your bbl. When Kyle gets more bullets I will pressure test the good loads. The following trace is a single group I shot with my Savage Axis/McGowen 400/408 that is 23" long and never has truly been a tack driver but I think this can be tuned a little better. It is deer accurate as it is. My rest was not really set up for it but I shot it anyway.

Great testing and shooting. Don't think you'll get any better than that 2nd target load.
