Here is a peek at the AccuMax.402" 225 grain test Bullets. If all goes as planned, Bill and Jerry will test these soon, maybe this weekend.

I think these might work in a Light blue Harvester for those that might be interested, we will find out soon. the cool thing is you should be able to custom fit them to the barrel if you have a .40 die.
the perfect bullet for recoil sensitive shooters? Just might be....

Soon as I get some theyre going down the Brux 1/20 barrel that Bestill put on my Omega build. Ahhh, a chance to shoot some more and do the enjoyable "load development" for a new build. Now just need the bullits and cooler weather. 10

If the length was a bit over 1.2" and with that short shank vs ogive length....sabots might be tricky. That was my hope too but after seeing these i have doubts they will work well in sabots.
In theory, 2600fps might do it in a 45 1-22 or faster twist which does appear to be possible. 2600fps is a cake walk with that bullet weight and the .402 will certainly help guys using 45/70 conversions with slightly larger bores.

I have a Ric Bibby .40 caliber, I think a PacNor barrel. The 195 Barnes are too loose, the 200 SSTs knurled are still looser than I like. Would these work in my barrel without a reducing die do you think?

Please let us know when these are available. I think I will then order some. If they do not work sabotless for me I am sure I can shoot them with the light blue harvestors in my .45s.

I will let everyone know when they are available. Those who have contacted me to reserve bullets are at the top of the list. I urge everyone to voice their opinion in the poll.

The 225's will be tested this weekend. A limited amount of that testing will be done with Harvester Light Blues in a 1 in 20 twist 45. Not expecting tack driving accuracy with this combo, but we will see.

55-60 grains of IMR4198 will likely be the test load. Jerry will be figuring charges in the next day or two.
