I shot this 10 shot group yesterday morning using my 300WSM and 200gr SMK bullets with RL 16 powder. Conditions were good very little wind lots of mirage which made it hard to center up on the patch so the one high shot was driver error on my part. A 98 score might win you high score for your relay but the group would not. (9) shots went into 5 1/4" but we count all 10 and that high shot open the group up to 7.9". When we test loads we want to see the bullets cluster together that will tell you how well the load is shooting I did have a nice 5 shot cluster which would have been close to the IBS 5 shot World record. But to win relays at Williamsport when conditions are good you will need to shoot all 10 in the low 5" or smaller it is tough to do.
These are used targets and we tape up the old holes it would be nice to have new targets but these work just fine for practice.

Hey Ron we shot last evening conditions looked mint and everyone shot vertical groups. This range is crazy. The test I ran with the sized 210VLD'S didn't show me anything worth repeating but this barrel never liked them from the start. Wayne shot big he is not a happy camper.

That is what the five shot IBS group record looked like when I broke it in 2002 Carl!

Hey your not in the center how come! LoL If we were shooting just 5 shots at Williamsport there would be new records broke every week I have shot 5 shots under 1.200 twice this year but it don't count for anything.
That is a nice target.

Some dude I know! Every dog has its day Scot! Hey Carl...................you take what you can ........when you can. You can go to White Horse one of the other 1K ranges where five shots are the rule in Light gun and go break a record? Seems to me the 1.4" record Tom Sarver shot at Thunder Valley in Ohio has not been broken either? Remember, that is FIVE shots in a row while in registered competition...............Not lolly gagging at your local range in the evening or early morning when conditions are the way you want. Just stop crying and go shoot a record:) I would like to take some of the three shot groups I have shot at my club and transport them to Kentucky also but that's the way the game is played?
