sorry no pic's due to photobutcher.
this load may or may not be safe in your barrel, mine is heavy contour 31". HIS,SF,NW chrono reading's should be in ball park as we were experimenting with a buds labradar(L) in conjunction with my chrony(C) having to make adjustments to try to keep mine out of the sunlight. the labradar showed up after I started the I4350test & was not present on all shots.
started at 125 gns= 2954fps 128 gns=2970C,2969L 130 gns=3001C,2993C 3007L 132 gns=3021C, 3036L,3050L
after the initial group@ 200yds approx. 1.5" went back & forth working shots from 128.0 to 130.0 randomly marking each shot to match up with the first round shots. approx. 10 shots within 1.5"@200yds with 4 gns of load difference
loads 130 & 132 all went into a cluster that could be covered with a quarter even though I would have liked to loosen the bullet up a smidge which I did not have time to do at this outing.
**important to note also no brake powder blasting on brake as I had w/ I4831**
time for a trace!

Very nice .clean burning powder? As far as fouling is it more comparable to h4198 or 3031?

Very nice .clean burning powder? As far as fouling is it more comparable to h4198 or 3031? in relation to the 2 powders mentioned above in which I have some experience, the I4350 was on the clean side & as expected more fouling the last approx. 8" of the barrel(muzzle)
the trace that I ordered will reflect where this load is actually at pressure wise, could be anywhere imo from 50k -58k..........
this in turn will let us know if there is more room(I4350/325gn) to reach the upper node safely which is around 3200fps,again jmho-not scientific.

As a spinning bullet travels down a barrel toward the muzzle, the barrel will oscillate. Basically the barrel is flexing in a circular pattern, noticeably more at the muzzle than the breech, with varying degrees of intensity many times before the bullet exits the muzzle. There is a pattern to this motion, larger circles shrinking to small to nonexistent, then progressing back to larger circles again. You have found a "node" when you get the bullet to exit the barrel when the barrel is at a point of least to no motion.

Did you node that a barrel's profile will react differently....I think this is where barrel harmonica's come in to play? Drop

I feel like im the only dummy at times It shows on paper. When you find a node you will have better groups. Record the weather conditions and the velocity, shoot again to validate that you have found a node.
