Nice build. I compliment you on your choice of stocks. Why did you choose a tactical brake over a radial?

Nice build. I compliment you on your choice of stocks. Why did you choose a tactical brake over a radial? Thanks. I read everything that I could find regarding brakes. There was a general consensus that tactical brakes reduce recoil more. Without having a radial brake to compare it to, I can not say for sure. What I can say is that the recoil from this gun is straight back, with no muzzle jump. This may be in part due to the barrel weight, but I think it also results from the tactical brake design.

Glad things are coming along Charles! My two buddies I shoot with every week love their Labradars. I am just waiting for my PACT to take a S$%t and I will own one also. The fact that my PACT, when shot along with the Lab. get the same velocities, tells me to keep it until its dead! Yes, that barrel on you gun is heavy.........! Would not want to take it on a sheep hunt in Alberta! Dolemite was one bad A_ _ MF!

cool gun It's a shooter too! Thanks Bill. Looks like it has potential if I get up to speed. I have had good luck with XTPs with my MLIIs. I know that the "purdy" bullets I got from Kyle will likely shoot much better. . Just got to figure out how to get them out of the box. Kyle, Thanks for getting everything out to the same day I ordered. Thanks for your excellent customer service. Charles

Richard, too late for the don't get stuck part. That's the first thing I did.
You and I may be the only two on here that know about "DOLEMITE."

Beautiful and accurate rifle, even with XTP's! GREAT looking chair set, too (jealous)! "Just got to figure out how to get them out of the box." Put the styro tops back over the bullets. Turn the box upside down. Remove from box. With bullets now upside down, remove bottom styro. Easily pull bullets out from base. OR Eat a piece of pecan pie with your fingers. They will easily come out the other way!!

Funny. I guess that just leaves me. When you are in for a good laugh, preferably while enjoying your favorite drink, listen to Rudy Ray tell the story about Dolemite. It's a classic.

Can't get the wife to cook the pecan pie, so I will go with your first option.

If you really want a good combination (Doug) Take a pecan pie (I like to cut thew crust off) and set it in a deep pie pan. Then make up the mixture for a good NY STYLE CHEESE CAKE and pour it over the pie and bake! Talk about good!!!! Oh yes, it does have a small calorie count!!!!

If you cut it into enough pieces the calories will fall out. That's my theory. Thats a nice looking rifle you built for Charles, Richard.

The movie trailer regarding Dolemite was removed due to language content. Lets keep it above board. Thanks Richard
