As promised, (thanks Dennis) I received 25 bonded 300 gr. star tip bullets from Dennis to try. I sized both the non-bonded and the bonded bullets along with Kyle's 300 gr. AeroMax using the same setting on Hank's smooth die. Kyle's bullets come out a few ten thousandths smaller. Which means thinner jacket and less spring back. Both the bonded and non-bonded come out the same. I was thinking that with the softer jacket (Dennis indicated that bonding anneals the copper) would come out smaller, but not so. Measurement was done with an electronic Mitutoyo micrometer that reads to five places. I will be shooting them this coming week in a side by side test to see if the bonded shoot any better than the non-bonded. A measurement I noted was the bearing surface of the Fury as compared to the AeroMax. The Fury has .520" vs. .320" on the Aero. Even when sized exactly the same, the Fury is extremely tight and need to be sized smaller................probably the added bearing surface contributes to harder seating along with a thicker jacket: .025" for the Fury as opposed to .021 for Kyle's. I sectioned a Fury and then melted the lead from another to get a jacket thickness. It is what Dennis had told me but like to see first hand:) That is plastic above the lead. The reason the tip looks uneven is because of the way I sectioned it. The nose is folded in.

I only shot the non-bonded ones. If you scroll down this page, you will see my report on "testing the 300 fury". You have to understand that I shot them several ways and with a particular powder. They appeared to need a wad. That could change if the bonded ones are annealed and softer. I see you are new to the board Nick! Welcome!!! I tend to do reports almost every week and in the written portion I try to give an explanation or at leas my opinion on why a group or whatever, is what it is? If you only look at the pictures you can very often miss the point.
