I had to come back a little early, Deadeye is likely cooking breakfast right about now and let me tell you he is hard to beat for a camp cook, especially if you like some heat . We had 15 shooters this time around and there were some decent groups shot, we had some rain but no wash out, all in all it was a sucess. Scat was there doing pressure traces which was interesting, I want to thank Jerry once again for tackling this, it looks pretty technical to me. For food we had the usual fixins, Deadeye biscuts, gravy, eggs, fresh wild turkey, potatoes and onions for breakfast, for lunch Hando did up some excellent Jumbolia, saturday we had some excellent smoked pork done on the smoker along with lots of fixins. All in all a great time of food and fellowship and some shooting thrown in to top things off, I'm sure Richard or Jeff will post the match results soon so I won't bother with details and Jeff was running video so I'm sure he will get it loaded soon so everyone can get an idea of what took place.

I am learning so much more each time I talk to the people at the range and on the board. Also thanks for making Matt feel welcome.

Glad to see the young lady there pulling the trigger, and she did very well I might add.
All the Michigan shooters did well, Eric and Kash included.
I want to thank Jeff for putting this on and all the guys that pitched in and helped with all the behind the scenes stuff like cooking, chasing/setting up targets and boards, measuring groups etc. It takes a lot of work to pull this off, the more guys that help the less load it puts on Jeff and Mindy.
Good times for all that were there!

I want to say thanks to everyone, without all of you guys the Kentucky Challenge would not be what it is today. We have came a long way from Kentucky Challenge #1 where we only had 2 shooting benches and no shelters, with hard work and dedication the range will only get better and better over time. Once again, thanks to all for your attendance, and willingness to help out where ever needed. Below are two videos I was able to shoot throughout the day. They show only a small part of what goes on at these shoots, but for those of you that have never made it to one of these shoots I think it will help you see what goes on throughout the day.

Definitely a great time at The Kentucky Challenge #7. Shooting right handed was a change up for sure. Hopefully I'll be shooting left handed at the next shoot, definitely by Spring 2018. Had my MRI of the left shoulder and arm this evening, results with the Orthopedic Surgeon on Wednesday. Look forward to #8 already!! Y'all be safe!

Glad to see you all had a great time! I'm a bit jealous... One of these times I'll make a shoot. Work just takes way too much of my time. Looks like some of the best company, comraderie, and eating to be had east of the Mississippi. And some darn fine shootin' as well. Congrats on another successful shoot!
