I can remember shooting my first muzzleloader back in the late 40's,been addicted since. Have lived in NC my whole life, have a wife and one daughter. Have been hunting on my own since I was 10 yrs old.Back then it was not as much fun as shooting targets now. It meant a lot of times you had something on the table to eat. I go by the name of herman on here and dougs board,Have been a member here for maybe a year ?.Been member on dougs board since when it was Dougs board. Have been retired since 1996 so now have time to shoot every week.I shoot a lot of different calibers but enjoy the smokeless muzzy more than any. Shot competion for some years 300yds 600 and 1000 but had to quit because of health issues.Shoot with richard and Bill about every tuesday and richard got Bill and I into shooting competion.
Great bunch of people on here and dougs.

Glad you are here Herman. I grew up in NC and lived there most of my life until moving to SC in 1998.

Herman (his real name is Frank) is one heck of a trigger puller. He helped me get started when I was struggling with the Savage 50's. Good people as is our partner Bill!
