Sorry Russ, no shooting report this week The club is having a contractor come in and build up our berms so the range has and will be closed from yesterday until tomorrow or Thursday. Its a bummer for me and my two shooting partners.

Load up and come on up Richard bring the crew. You can shoot up here. Our range only goes out to 200 yds. But its not a bad little range. And you can meet the puppies. Sure gonna miss the report. Russell

For around $50.00 I could re-join the Hawk's Ridge club which is only 50 minutes away and shoot 1,000 yards also:) The thing is, shooting 1K with the ML'er would just be a novelty which would soon wear off. It is really just an ego thing. I would need the 20 moa mount to start with and once I hit the target, which I know I can do once adjustments are made, then what? There is no competition here or anywhere that I know of? 500 or 600 is more realistic but I have no where to deer hunt at that range. I think 500 is even stretching the limits of even Hanks "Cyclops" for a deer gun and you would need a super steady rest and the right conditions. Realistically, a consistent MOA rifle out to around 300 to maybe..............400 yards is way more than adequate for even CF deer rifles. The fact is, most deer hunters do no shoot/test enough to be proficient much past 200 to 300 yards.
