I am Having Jeff Convert my Ultimate Firearms MZ to a Hankins Custom SMPL. I have been adding things to the build as we go like Jewel trigger, muzzle brake, extra plug/modules, extra sizing die. but was contemplating what i should put on it for a optic.....Well today i bit the Bullet and Ordered a Nightforce NXS 5.5-22x56 with MOAR-T reticle also all the NF base, rings, Flip caps. I can say now that all has been ordered and its just a waiting game until i get that phone call from Jeff. I'm Like a kid in a candy store right now.

You will be very happy, I personally don't own one however several friends have NF on various rifles and I have always been impressed with the quality and the glass on them . I'm a firm believer the with optics you get what you pay for, sounds like you have a winning combination.
Good luck

I've had the NXS line and the F1 BEAST. They make great sights.

My Nightforce ATACR is holding zero well on my Hankins Smokeless Muzzleloader. I'm looking real hard at the 8x32 NXS for my current build in progress by Jeff. Good choices Don!!!

I bit the bullet last fall with the NXS 8x32 with the MOAR-T retical...base and rings. You CAN lose the MOAR-T reticle in the brushline somewhat at dusk or dawn...but just click the illumination on. Most likely my next build will have the same...Buy once Cry once Drop

I've had a NXS 5.5-22X56 for 4 years and had no problems with it. They are a great scope for the money. I also have a 5-25X56 ATACR with the moar-t reticle. The ATACR is a little better in my opinion. The good thing about the NF is that they hold their value well.

Good choice in scopes. I have the same scope with the R2 reticle. The fine red lines in low light really helps.

I just bought a nightforce from extreme outer limits, moa 1000.4x14 for 845 with free shipping. I like that reticle the best and price was right.

At the shoot, Jeff Hankins 8x32 NXS looked brighter than my ATACR with both scopes set on the same power. I'm not certain if the lenses are the same. Just an observation.

I love Nightforce and I'd have one on every gun I own if I could afford it,, however two is about my limit. I do have one NSX 8-32-56 with the moar reticle that I'm trying to sell for a customer, if anyone is interested in it let me know in a pm.. He would like to sell it... Basically new in the box,, he wants to sell it to fund a rifle build.

I wish they made the ATACR in a 8X32 The acronym explains why they don't. None of us want 8x as our low end or need 32x as out top end. Generally, high range variables are long also and the ATACR is shorter. There is only so much room on a rail for a day sight and NV/Thermal sights. The ATACR has different glass than NXS. It uses the same lenses as the F1 BEAST I had.
