Nice job.. We got 5-6 inches of snow yesterday and as I was working a cut of cars in down town Cincinnati I saw a coyote just walking across the yard.,,, not 50 yards from me and acted like he didn't even care I was there....

Fresh snow? 12-18".....starting........NOW. Look out Western NY. We are about to see the first "normal" major storm of the winter. We get more lake effect than anything and that's what puts us on the map for extreme snow. This year not so much. Flakes just started falling. Coyote guys around here are pretty serious. It is not uncommon to drive around on the weekend and see trucks parked on several roads. Guys by the road with guns. Dogs, lots of the, running block to block. Other guys on other roads with a pack of fresh dogs ready to take over if the yote crosses their path. It's fairly flat out here so the roads are in grid works.
A couple of serious crews around here. More like bands....lot of guys and dogs. Lot's of GPS and radios. Lot's of dead yotes. Lot's of story tellin at the 2 local diners about the hunts They say the hound dogs kill more of them then the guys with guns as the fresh packs catch up with a dog-tired yote on the run, miles from its den and shred them. Kinda a bad deal for a yote....but they get their come-up-ens for doing the same to deer/fawns.
Popular way out here in extreme Western NY. Snow will make it interesting and cutting fresh tracks will be a plus.
