Is it posssible to convert a 700 adl to except a detachable magazine style ? obviously the stock would need to be customized or swapped put .

Yes, you can change it over to a DBM style, there is no difference in the action. You just need to have your stock inlet or replaced and buy the bottom metal for the mag system you want to use.

Thanks Keith my son would like the detachable mag and a pro varmint style stock . Boyds doesnt show that style so wil have to call or look else where .

For the money that detachable mag system that Keith listed is very well made. I have one on a 260 of mines for I am going to buy another one fory 308. I bought a flattop stock so I had to inlet the barrel channel and the bottom metal. A buddy of mine has a mill so that helped. I didn't want to wait for McMillan to do the I letting I was in a hurry to get it together.
