Mammoth was a good time: 27 miles of rucking through the Kentucky mountains, rain, snow, high winds, and 11challenging stages with targets out to 1100yds. Rockcastle Shooting Center were great hosts and the sponsors were great. We finished 9th of 43 Extreme Tough Man teams. My partner also won the target detection event and got a gift certificate for a Kinetic Research Group rifle chassis.

Keith,
Very well done, just finishing that comp is a victory of itself and 9th out of 43 is a REAL accomplishment.
A 27 mile ruck march is job enough but throw in precision shooting, land nav, target id......and on and on
Well done Keith.
Mike
PS your barrel thread protectors are in the mail.

Keith. Good job and great shooting... You were almost close enough to my shop to stop in for a visit. Maybe next time.. Jeff. I almost called but when I finished up on Sunday I stripped out of my muddy clothes, took a shower, and passed out. My partner had passed out on the floor waiting on me to shower before dinner. Monday morning we left after breakfast and still didn't get home to NC until nearly 10PM.

Thanks all, we had a blast. The Army Marksmanship Unit ( they field 80% of the USA Olympic shooters) brought half a dozen teams and they are just plain hard to outshoot since competition is their full time job. We still did well enough that my partner and I got an offer from a gun company to put guns in our hands to showcase their product in matches this year.
