Guys.
The pure tungsten bushings crack, sooner or later it's gonna happen. $50.00 for a bushing and getting 1000's of shots ain't a bad investment, but $50.00 for a bushing and getting only 12 shots sucks.... I think it's best to use a tungsten carbide type of material and get 100's of shots, then replace it when it has warn out past your acceptable tolerance.
Shooting these guns ain't cheap. Wear and tare on plugs, and bushings are just part of routine maintenance.

I have a stupid question or I guess it is how could the bushing ruin the barrel? Scratch it or what?

If the bushing was shot down the barrel it could scratch/gouge the barrel..

If it's cracked I would think you could see it...
